Situated on the Esplanade at Sea Beach, Aberdeen, The Beach Leisure Centre is one of the North of Scotland’s premier leisure facilities, offering a wide range of activities for all the family. Open year round, the leisure pool has fantastic water features including rapids and a wave machine, so you can’t fail to have a whale of a time! The thrilling flume rides mean the whole family can experience the thrill of the splash, with mini-flumes for the little ones and the Pipeline, Wipeout and Tube for the more intrepid. There is also a Jacuzzi on hand to provide some chill out time. The health suite is equipped with a variety of relaxing and invigorating facilities including a steam room, two saunas, a relaxation area, and treatment room. The recently refurbished fitness suite has an array of cardio-vascular and resistance equipment, and the fitness instructors are on hand to help you achieve your fitness goals. A sports hall, equivalent in size to eight badminton courts, can accommodate two simultaneous games of five-a-side football, and is suitable for other activities such as badminton, basketball, hockey, volleyball and trampolining. Adjoining the sports hall is the climbing wall, offering a challenge for experienced and novice climbers alike. The centre also has free supervised crèche facility, available from Monday to Friday, which must be booked in advance. The refurbished cafe is the ideal place to rejuvenate after all that activity, or just to chat with friends. The menu is changed daily and offers a wide selection of hot and cold refreshments.
