Cambridge Street’s first ever Chinese restaurant opened its doors in July 2009. Something of a hidden gem to Glasgow’s Chinese community, Four Seasons offers the general public authentic cuisine with a modern slant. Popular selections from the menu include Beef Bean Curd Hotpot and Pork Chops in Salad Cream. Cantonese small meals incorporate the finest elements of traditional recipes and condense them to one plate. Tantalising portions include Seafood Crispy Noodles and King Prawn Dumpling with Noodle Soup. For just £6.80 these dishes are as filling a meal as you are likely to find, perfect fare to prepare for a night on the town. The restaurant itself has an uncluttered, contemporary feel – all cream walls and white linen punctuated by chocolate brown cushions and napkins. The upstairs mezzanine and the downstairs area both sit up to twenty diners and this sense of intimacy only adds to the fresh serenity of this fine restaurant.
