Private Eyes in Aberdeen may sound like a detective agency, but it’s actually the city’s premier gentlemen’s club. Located on Chapel Street, the club is open from 9pm till 2am Sunday-Thursday, but extends to 3am on Friday and Saturday. Thursday nights are especially entertaining, with dancers donning a selection of erotic fantasy costumes (nurses, maids), and a fantasy stage parade that gets underway at midnight. Relax and enjoy a cold bottle of beer, as table shows are free, while private dances cost £10 for three minutes or £100 for a half-hour ‘sit down’. Popular with stag parties (parties of 12 or more will enjoy free admission for the groom and best man), the club nevertheless exudes a laid back vibe, with the atmosphere always good-natured. The decor is tasteful with mini chandeliers dangling from the ornately carved ceiling above the bar. Like all good clubs, Private Eyes boasts a well-stocked bar, with a selection of beers, wines and spirits from around the world to take your fancy.
