Our Accommodation 

Willowbeck Lodge is situated in one of the most beautiful and spectacular locations in England. It is within easy travelling distance of the Lake District National Park and World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall.

Despite being only 1 mile from junction 43 for the M6 Motorway, Willowbeck Lodge offers a haven of tranquillity to those guests either looking to break up their trip to or from Scotland or those looking to explore Carlisle and the surrounding areas.The hotel looks over a large natural pond which hosts and abundance of wildlife from Kingfishers to Otters. All the rooms (with the exception of the Maple room) have a single aspect over the pond and gardens.

Willowbeck Lodge offers 10 ensuite rooms all named after the trees that grow in the mature gardens. The Willow, Oak, Ash, Hazel and Eva’s rooms all are spacious and have super king beds. The Willow and Oak include corner bath and separate shower. The Eva’s and Hazel rooms are located on the ground floor and are easily accessible from the car park. The Eva’s room has an interlinking bunk room and makes a perfect set up for guests with young families of up to 4 (children up to the age of 15).Cedar is a self-contained garden suite, sleeping up to 4 adults, it boasts an open plan living room and dining area plus two ensuite bedrooms.

Our three compact rooms – Larch, Beech and Maple all have smaller floor space and double beds.

The Maple room is smallest room and is best suited for single occupancy though it can be booked for two adults.Due to the unique Alpine-Lodge like architecture of the hotel some of the ceilings have eves and therefore lower ceiling.Taller guests may find the height in the Maple room restrictive.

The restaurant at Willowbeck Lodge serves dinner 7-nights of the week.If guests wish to dine with us on the evening of their stay, we request they book a table in advance.Restaurant reservations can be made directly via the hotel website.

PLEASE NOTE. WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT PETS IN THE HOTEL. LAST CHECK-IN IS 9PM (LATE CHECK-INS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE BY PRE-ARRANGMENT AND MAYBE SUBJECT TO A CHARGE

Willowbeck Lodge also provides business clients with meeting and small conference facilities in pleasant and discrete surroundings.
