Fred has restored the original stone walls and decorated them with elegant mirrors and discreet chandeliers... combined with flickering candlelight, the ambience creates a warm and welcoming environment... a complete retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Royal Mile. The cafe is spacious yet intimate. You can relax in comfy leather sofas and beautiful oak tables, ideal for chatting with friends and family or with business associates.  Breakfast is served from 9.00am until 11.30am, offering a tasty selection of Freshly Baked Croissants, Savoury snacks and the famous ‘Forentin Waffle.’ The Menu which is available throughout the day consists of delicious hot and cold dishes, from Salads to Lasagne, that are sure to leave you completely satisfied. With desserts such as Luxury Chocolate Ganache Cake and Caramel Apple Toffee Pie served warm...... mmmmm.... added to this, there is a well stocked bar which serves a wide range of Beers, Wines, Spirits and Classic Cocktails.
