Yes Sushi in Edinburgh, Japanese / Thai / Fusion Restaurants

At the end of a long day’s shopping recently, my wife and I decided to try the relatively new Japanese restaurant on Hanover Street, Yes Sushi. We both like Japanese food and have tried some of the others in the city, so this one had a lot to live up to!

It didn’t disappoint! The staff were very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. The décor is slightly themed Japanese, but tastefully done and the menu is extensive, there are pictures to help you choose if you don’t know your way around sushi, teriyaki or sashimi but the staff are on hand to help.

For starters I tried the Japanese dumplings, which were filled with vegetables and very tasty, and my wife had the soft shell crab Tempura. She said the batter was very light and the crab was delicious. We then shared a fantastic Sushi Set which was served with Miso soup. With no room for dessert we had had enough, but we definitely haven’t had enough of Yes Sushi. We will be back as soon as possible to try some of the other delights from this wonderful restaurant.
