Azure is one of Glasgow’s premier nightspots, renowned for its larger-than-life party atmosphere supplied by a host of big name DJs and celebrity guests. Pop stars and chart toppers make Azure their Scottish tour venue of choice, its spacious capacity comfortably able to accommodate their egos and their eager fans. Open four nights a week Thursday through Sunday, Azure is a club that doesn’t do subtle. The eye candy - like the music - is brash and colourful, with the city’s party boys and girls getting down here en masse every weekend. Two diverse rooms of music feature ultra-modern decor and ooze 21st century chic; no expense has been spared in Azure’s quest to position itself as Glasgow’s premier nightclub. With a variety of themed club nights plus a plush VIP section that can be hired for up to 150 guests, there is always something lively happening in Azure. Drinks are cheap, clothing is of the minimal variety and the sound system is, for want of a better term, banging. What more could you ask for in a club?
