Based on Crow Road in Glasgow’s chic West End, family-run Café Circa has been serving customers traditional Scottish dishes in this café come antique shop since 2006. Tourists to the nearby Botanic Gardens and galleries flock here for authentic Scottish meals, including the cafe’s renowned full breakfast served with black pudding fresh from Stornoway. This hearty homemade Scottish food is served up in retro surroundings which make you feel like you’re stepping into the past. A wide range of collectables from every era are available for sale, and with items changing weekly you can enjoy delicious food while taking in the antiques and intriguing objects d’art which form the surroundings. Local West End artists also regularly have their works for sale in the cafe. A wide range of luxury herbal teas and coffees are available and Café Circa operates a convenient ‘Bring Your Own Bottle’ policy. Having now been open for three years, Café Circa is a huge hit with locals and is a must if you are dining out in the West End. It’s so popular that booking in advance is advisable.
