The Italian Caffe has become a must visit venue in Glasgow’s bustling Merchant City. It was the first restaurant of its kind to offer an Italian tapas styled menu to Glasgow. The menu changes daily, and you’ll be spoilt for choice, with dishes such as Entrecote Di Maiale (Pork chop with sage gravy and dauphinoise potatoes) and Salmone Al Forno (Salmon escalope with a chive cream served with creamy mashed potato) for just £7.95. The piccolo piatti small plates also offer great quality food and outstanding value for money, small plates from as little as £2.95. Diners can choose from a vast range of small traditional Italian dishes to enjoy a taste of everything. Dishes include: Tonno Tartare (Raw tuna fillet on cucumber & fennel with mascarpone and chives), Zuppa Di Pesce (Mixed seafood casserole with white wine, tomatoes and garlic) and Porchetta Arrosto (Roasted pork stuffed with fresh herbs and garlic, served with sage sauce).
