With seven well-positioned restaurants in Glasgow City Centre and the surroundings areas, Di Maggio’s is a household favourite in the city, offering the best in Italian cuisine. Family-run, all the individually designed restaurants serve great food, freshly prepared on their premises. Di Maggio’s takes great pride in the unique atmosphere, an environment that everyone can enjoy. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, having a family meal, or just grabbing a quick bite, you can enjoy the friendly service and relaxed ambience. The menu has something for everyone, including delicious starters that range in price from £3.45 for Soup to £6.45 for a Shared Combo Starter. Or how about opening with some deliciously fresh West Coast mussels, Livornese style (served in a tomato and garlic herb bisque with crusty garlic bread - £5.75). For your main course, you could try the excellent Chicken Stroganoff (strips of chargrilled chicken cooked in a classic cream, brandy, mushroom and mustard stroganoff sauce and served with savoury rice - £11.95). The array of Pizzas and Pastas cost between £7 and £10, while the tender BBQ Pork Ribs will set you back £11.95 and a succulent 10oz Sirloin Steak £14.95. There are plenty of options for vegetarians too, and for large parties there are set-price menus available on request. Children are well provided for with their own kids’ menu, high chairs, puzzles and crayons to keep them occupied. For up to date menu information on each individual branch, log on to the website at www.dimaggios.co.uk and simply click on the desired location. Open seven days till late, Di Maggio’s is the ideal place for large parties and functions, with private rooms available in all branches. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment.

we where visiting the city on Tuesday night for the European football, we travelled with 5 people and discovered the Merchant Square from the guide we had in our hotel room, we had a drink in Metropolitan and decided on Italian for food the service was quick and the staff pleasant, but the quality and quantity of the non traditional pasta and pizza was poor, the bill for 5 mains and 9 drinks was over £130 the surrounings where nice just slighty put off by the food. sorry would have to improve to return.
