Hamleys, the world’s finest toy store, has been thrilling excited children of all ages since 1760.
Conveniently located on the second floor of the St. Enoch shopping centre just off Argyle Street, the new Hamleys has brought some magic to Glasgow in the year they’re celebrating their 250th birthday.
Every day there’s something different going on;  Hamley the Bear talks to the children, magicians and toy demonstrators entertain, plus regular puppet shows, an activity area for arts and crafts, and the Tales and Fables area where children can enjoy story-telling sessions. But there’s much much more to Hamleys, including Game, Red Five and the Tantrum boutique where girls can be pampered and transformed into their favourite star for a day. Your child can also enjoy a magical birthday in the amazing party room - what could be more fun than a birthday party surrounded by toys?  Kids have a range of themes to choose from and a whole host of activities, as well as having party food, a birthday cake and goody bags all provided; parents simply sit back and relax while Hamleys do all the work. Perhaps we ought to say 250 years young!
