Manchester is renowned as having one of the best music scenes in the UK, and Night & Day is the best venue to catch up and coming bands in the city. A cosy cafe by day, serving the best burgers in town and veggie options, at night it turns into a rock n’ roll monster, whose stage has been graced by legends from Tom Verlaine to the Arctic Monkeys. This year alone it has hosted such indie luminaries as The Enemy and MGMT as well as folk artists such as Kimya Dawson and James Yorkston. Night and Day plays an integral part of In The City festival, this year celebrating with the likes of Errors and the Spinto Band. The venue is always on the lookout for the next big thing, with new bands and promoters, invited to get in touch with ideas for club night. The city’s longest running independent music venue celebrated its 17th birthday last year. Here’s to the next couple of decades!
