Asian Fusion - Ithaca
Ithaca
Two years and £4 million later, the long awaited, much anticipated Ithaca has opened on John Dalton Street. This luxurious pan-Asian restaurant and bar spreads over four opulently furnished floors with the ground floor restaurant serving 34 covers, the layout consisting of square tables and chairs plus booths with banquette seating. Lighting comes from amazing mirrored chandeliers, accompanied by an ambient glow from the kitchen that creates a lively atmosphere. The First Floor restaurant serves 38 covers with a Chef’s Table at the end of the room for 10 diners. Chef Norman Harkness comes to Ithaca from Zuma and Nozomi in Knightsbridge, bringing with him a brand of stylish metropolitan cooking that, whilst essentially Japanese, embraces pan-Asian influences.
