Jem and I
Award-winning chef-patron Jem O'Sullivan returned to his Didsbury roots to set up Jem & I. Formerly a bank, it retains the original dark wood flooring and January 2006 saw a new look with modern, sleek surroundings and an upstairs gallery overlooking the new bar and kitchen area.
The food is best described as Modern European with everything made fresh daily on the premises. There is also now a new World Tapas menu served during the day, comprising 30 dishes which are rotated daily. Jem has retained his much-coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand award, with Jem & I the only Manchester restaurant outside the city centre to ever receive the accolade.
