Opus One
The Radisson Edwardian’s destination restaurant, Opus One, continues to gain acclaim for its stunning interiors and honest British cuisine. The lavish and mouth-watering menu offers a uniquely British experience within luxurious yet unpretentious surroundings. Set within the Radisson Edwardian Manchester, the former Free Trade Hall, this stylish restaurant echoes the style and glamour of its celebrated environment. This is indulgence on a grand scale. Crimson red glass, antique gold wall coverings, high gloss black lacquered woodwork, crimson red chandeliers wrapped around ornate classical columns, bespoke furniture in black crocodile hide, illuminated glass flooring within the colonnade and original artworks and sculptures are highlighted by decorative wall lighting. Opus One is a real treat for those who enjoy fine dining without pretension. New Head Chef Russ Brown has devised a menu combining traditional British foods with a wealth of tastes and flavours. The dedication and skill of the staff, combined with carefully sourced local produce, creates a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the Opus One restaurant. The menu also features herbs and vegetables grown in the Opus One Roof Garden. Already the source of inspirations for new dishes on the menu, the roof garden includes Basil and Lemon Basil, Oregano, Sage, Russian Tarragon, Tomatoes, Yellow Beans, Chilli Peppers, Squash and Courgettes. The new Opus One menu is already full of culinary delights inspired and complimented by the hotel-grown produce. The celebration of food and ingredients climaxes with an array of desserts complete with signature twists and explosive flavours.
