Venison roast was perfectly cooked, excellent ambience and was impeccably cared for by A+ staff; was never left waiting and all members were quick, efficient and wonderfully sociable. Couldn’t ask for better, will definitely be in again soon!

Visited this lovely gastropub on a Saturday for lunch following a walking tour of the area. The main seating areas, with views of the waterfront, were either occupied or reserved but we were seated in the bar area at the back. The staff were all really friendly and, before we received our food, offered us a table in the restaurant when one became free - although we decided to stay put. Would definitely recommend.

We had preordered our meal for a party of 12 so there was no delay in service. There was a wide choice of food and everyone enjoyed their meal. The portions were on the generous side and not everyone could finish their plate, and few had dessert. Wine was reasonably priced.

Whilst staying in Leith for a couple of nights, we used 2 pub Restaurants for evening meals and King's Wark was the best of both. The pub is very historical and located on the waterfront close to the centre of the town. I had Sea Trout with Crevettes, Mussels, Asparagus and new Potatoes in bisque which was delicious. The staff were very polite, friendly and the food was served in good time. I would certainly return if visiting Leith again in future.
