Luttrellstown Castle Resort

Luttrellstown Castle Golf & Country Club is situated within the 567 acre walled estate of Luttrellstown Castle, only 20 minutes’ drive to the centre of Dublin City and Dublin Airport. The 18-hole championship parkland course has undergone a complete redevelopment – all of the 18 holes has been modified and enhanced. The Golf & Country Club is located on the eastern side of the estate and is bounded by mature woodlands. The natural contours of the land have been cleverly used to maintain the integrity of this ancient landscape.

The course measures over 7347 yards from the championship tees, making it a worthy test for golfers of the highest standard. Water is featured on 11 holes, accurate tee shots determine where and how much of the hazard must be crossed. The view from the 6th tee down across the Liffey Valley and Strawberry Beds is spectacular, while the par four 11th presents visitors with the first glimpse of the castle. A view of a romantic Doric Temple and quaint Boathouse also adds to the appeal of this hole. The stretch between the 3rd and  7th holes is the most demanding on the course as it is here most games are won or lost.

Full practice facilities are available, including chipping and putting greens. Expert golf tuition is also available from residential professionals.

Highly recommend this fantastic castle. We had a wonderful time with our family party and it was magical having the castle all to ourselves. The food was delicious served on a beautifully set table. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms are really lovely with every modern convenience but still have a sense of history about them. The grounds are amazing and when the weather stopped us going outside the games room and the library were a fabulous alternative. All members of the family, both young and old(er), really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely stay here again.
