Cults Hotel

Situated on North Deeside Road, Cults Hotel is an esteemed venue that’s held in high regard by the residents of Cults and Bieldside. As the area’s de facto local, the bar is the place to catch up on news over a cold pint on any given evening. The dining room, situated in the lounge bar, is warm and cosy, with an open fireplace and rich furnishings. While the bar and lounge ably cater to the needs of the Cults Hotel’s regulars, the building functions as much more than a watering hole. Described as having the ‘warmth and charm of a small country hotel’, Cults Hotel welcomes a mixture of business guests, tourists set on exploring Royal Deeside and couples seeking a romantic break. 16 stylish guest rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard. Due to its prime position, just a couple of miles outside the Oil Capital, Cults Hotel regularly hosts conferences, seminars and business meetings. Two function suites are available, with space for up to 100 guests. Similarly, the hotel specialises in hosting wedding receptions, with banqueting staff available to help out with planning every aspect of the big day. When it comes to food, local residents, wedding guests and business delegates alike are well served with hearty portions and an inventive menu.

Have heard good reports so went for a Sunday evening meal. Had the carvery. Wife had chicken off the a la carte. No complaints with this big tasty plate of meat and veg. Friendly staff in this busy hotel. Highly recommend.

Rooms are rather small. Shower cubicle is tiny but comfy bed and ok service from staff. Bar prices are quite expensive for location with little variety.
