Situated in the heart of Pontardawe, The Indian Cottage offers a spread of mouth-watering Indian cuisine. The flavours, aromas and presentation of the restaurant’s traditional Indian cuisine is top-notch, a feat that’s achieved by paying special attention to every fine detail and only using the finest and freshest ingredients. If you can’t find what you’re looking for on the menu, just ask and the chef will happily try and prepare it especially for you. An a la carte menu features a good blend of all the expected classic curries and then some more adventurous chef’s specials for purveyors of new flavours. Keep it mild and simple with a creamy korma or antry aromatic dopiaza curry made with onion and tomato. You can elect to have your curry filled with king prawn, tender lamb, minced lamb, chicken breast or mixed vegetables. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and the prices are fair. Whilst staying nearby in a self catering holiday home we decided to visit the Indian Cottage over the other Indian restaurants in town largely due to it being recommended by the in formation book in our holiday accommodation and that it was open for sit down on a sleepy Monday evening in May.
