Logie Steading

Located in the picturesque Findhorn Valley, Logie Steading is a unique shopping and visitor centre destination. At the centre of the Logie Estate are its converted farm buildings that are now host to a group of independent businesses: from the Bookshop to Logie Whisky & Wine, and from the Art Gallery to the Farm & Garden Shop, there are plenty of ways to while away a leisurely afternoon. The surrounding gardens make for a pleasant stroll, giving visitors the chance to admire the flora and fauna in the grounds of the 17th Century Logie House. Afterward, The Olive Tree Cafe forms a highly popular stopping point, perfect for resting weary feet, and serves a range of delicious soups and sandwiches. This cheerful, family-run establishment also has a reasonably priced kids’ menu to keep the little ones happy. Besides shopping, the Logie Steading is also host to many activities, courses and events. The Long Room hosts workshops from basket-making to crewel embroidery. For a more outdoorsy experience, fish for salmon on the idyllic River Findhorn, or visit our annual Christmas Market and summer outdoor theatre performances.

We came here for the quirky shops. Got some whisky and gin, a Noel and glass Tunnocks tea cake and some bath sparkles. We went for s walk to Randolph's Leap and ate in the lovely Olive Tree cafe. There is good parking, a walled garden and play area as well as the longhorn cattle.
