Causeway. With over 150
stores to choose from, you’re
sure to find what you’re after
– unless you’re in search of
something ridiculously esoteric
(say, a rare species of gecko
or an original Faberge egg?).
The mega-sized complex is
packed to the rafters with
terrific shops; everything from
fashion boutiques to sports
stores, health and beauty
outlets and jewellers. Big name
retailers include Dune, Gap,
H&M, HMV, John Lewis, Marks
& Spencer and River Island. A
large Apple store is also on the
premises, alongside Vodafone,
Games Workshop and EE.
Hungry? There’s an abundance
of popular restaurants and
cosy cafes. When it all gets
too much, head to the food
court and gorge yourself on
Krispy Kreme doughnuts or
KFC. Alternatively, blow off
some steam with a game
of tenpin bowling. There’s
even a multi-screen cinema.
Cribbs Causeway puts plenty
of effort into its events, too.
The spellbinding magic of

during the annual Winter
Wonderland, which features
a skate rink, Santa’s grotto,
Christmas parade and plenty of
fairy lights. Oh, and don’t worry
about parking: there are 7,000
free spaces.
