LEISURE POOL
Perth Leisure Pool is a favourite
with the town’s families, some
of whom have been coming
here since the centre first
opened its doors in 1988.
Packed with flumes and fun
features, there’s enough here
to comfortably while away an
afternoon. Under fives go free
at Perth Leisure Pool, helping
to ensure that a day out won’t
leave you out of pocket. Open
from 10am-10pm, the leisure
centre is equipped with a fitness
gym with the latest Life Fitness
cardiovascular equipment. For
adults and children who are
still finding their way in the
water, swimming lessons are
available through the week.
Private lessons are provided
alongside special classes for
pre-school kids. During term
time, some sections of the pool
are used for school lessons, but
from 4pm the flumes, wild water
and whirlpool spring into life.
After an invigorating session
in the pool, why not retreat to
the health suite to unwind in the
sauna? There’s also a steam
room, jacuzzi, needle shower
and steam shower that will
help to dissipate built up stress
and tension. Finally, Café Aqua
serves a range of light lunches
and snacks and is equipped
with a baby feeding station and
children’s play area.
