Lochter Activity Centre is a
veritable fun zone for adults and
kids alike. The only drawback
is that it may take more than a
single visit to sample everything
the Centre has to offer. Set your
pulse hastening by hitting the
go-karting track for a 45-minute
race, reaching top speeds of
60kph as you whizz towards
the chicane. If you prefer a
bigger vehicle, why not try the
obstacle driving challenge, or
hit full-throttle driving off-road
on a powerful 4x4? Of course,
driving’s not for everyone, so
there are other pursuits to tackle
at Lochter. For more meditative
visitors, there are three lochs
in which to fly fish, as well as
rifle target shooting, archery,
zip slides and a mini Highland
Games! There’s even an on-
site restaurant specialising in
cuisine that utilises the best
of local produce; whether you
want a three-course meal or a
BBQ buffet after a day of fun,
you won’t be disappointed
by the fare on offer. Lochter
also makes a perfect wedding
venue, while a range of
conference suites that cater
to the needs of business
delegates. Just 30 minutes
from Aberdeen, Lochter Activity
