Mumtaz is a family-run restaurant serving
traditional Indian cuisine and hospitality. The
restaurant has built up an enviable reputation
since opening in December 2010. Its staff pride
themselves on providing excellent cuisine in
comfortable surroundings. The cuisine is fresh and
the ingredients are locally sourced where possible.
It’s not just the food that’s special though; Mumtaz
also enjoys an enviable location, with breathtaking
views of Swansea Bay. The restaurant is open
seven days a week and can cater for most dietary
requirements. There’s also a takeaway service
which attracts a reasonable 10% discount. Mumtaz
represents the culmination of an ambition to serve
truly authentic Indian food to diners who appreciate
the genuine article. Order your favourite spicy curry,
accompanied by pilau rice and a Kashmiri naan,
which should provide enough satisfying carbs to
complete a hearty meal.

Panshee is Swansea’s newest contemporary
Indian restaurant. Located opposite the Grand
Theatre, it dispenses a unique blend of genuine
Indian cuisine. For several years, diners in Skewen
have been extolling the virtues of Panshee. Now
it’s Swansea’s turn to see what all the fuss is about.
Diners will be spoilt for choice with the range of
traditional meals available on the main menu which
includes a mouth-watering array of spicy treats.
Panshee’s affordable range of quality dishes are
made with the finest ingredients, to create truly
authentic food pairings. Lovers of traditional Indian
cuisine will relish the restaurant’s varied selection of
signatures and specialities. A wealth of vegetarian
dishes made with the freshest vegetables can also
be enjoyed. On Sundays there’s a four-course
special set meal from 12 noon until 10pm, which is
cooked to order. It’s an excellent opportunity to see
for yourself what Panshee is all about.
