Lochter Activity Centre is a veritable fun zone for adults and kids alike. The only drawback is that it may take more than a single visit to sample everything the Centre has to offer. Set your pulse hastening by hitting the go-karting track for a 45-minute race, reaching top speeds of 60kph as you whizz towards the chicane. If you prefer a bigger vehicle, why not try the obstacle driving challenge, or hit full-throttle driving off-road on a powerful 4x4? Of course, driving’s not for everyone, so there are other pursuits to tackle at Lochter. For more meditative visitors, there are three lochs in which to fly fish, as well as rifle target shooting, archery, zip slides and a mini Highland Games! There’s even an on-site restaurant specialising in cuisine that utilises the best of local produce; whether you want a three-course meal or a BBQ buffet after a day of fun, you won’t be disappointed by the fare on offer. Lochter also makes a perfect wedding venue, while a range of conference suites that cater to the needs of business delegates. Just 30 minutes from Aberdeen, Lochter Activity Centre really does have something for everyone.

We were the very first guests after lockdown, we stopped just for a coffee, the staff were very nice and very good scones!

The setting is lovely and although the main theme is the activity centre they are open for lunches and" fly cups". Their home baking is excellent and their scones are first class. Their lunch menu is limited but the food is always excellent. They also cater for events and they cater for large numbers very well. Again the food is always piping hot and lovely and the staff are efficient and friendly.

Great place nice food, lovely friendly staff. Go karting was ace. A must go place for the north east of Scotland.
