CAMBRIDGE LAKES
Cambridge Lakes Golf Course
is a popular nine-hole course
located
on
Trumpington
Road, one mile south of The
Royal
Cambridge
Hotel.
The course, which opened
in 1995, covers around 15
acres and incorporates two
attractive lakes, five bunkers,
a water course and several
landscaped areas. Other
facilities include a coffee shop,
teaching area with covered
bay and practice bunker,
grass and synthetic putting
and chipping greens and two
practice nets. The facility
strives to provide an informal
atmosphere and a place for all
to learn and enjoy a game of
golf without having to spend
five hours playing a full 18-
hole course. Whether you are
looking to learn golf or practise
your swing, Cambridge Lakes
offers golf for all. The course
provides excellent approach
play and short game practice.
There are good quality, well
maintained greens and hole
positions are changed every
week and chosen to provide
some challenging putts and
chip shots. With around 75% of
golf played within 150 yards of
the green, Cambridge Lakes is
the ideal place to enjoy a quick
practice round.
