CADENHEAD’S
WHISKY
In a city renowned for its
whisky culture, there are
few purveyors of the amber
nectar more knowledgable
than Cadenhead’s. Located
on the Canongate, just down
from the Royal Mile, this
whisky emporium serves up
golden malts and blends of
every shade and subtlety
imaginable. As well as
all stocking an array of
Scotland’s most famous
whiskies, there are many
rarer brands to be admired,
as well as a selection of
vintage malts that most
of us can only dream of
tasting. Ably catering for
the needs of tourists and
locals alike, Cadenhead’s
bespoke service enables
every customer to find
the right malt for the right
occasion. Although few
shops can be considered to
be more typically Scottish
than Cadenhead’s, they do
find space amidst all the
home-distilled talent for a
selection of international
offerings from as far afield
as New Zealand. It’s the
indigenous whisky that
most flock here for however.
With distillery names such
as
Auchentoshan
and
Balmenach
represented
here,
there’s
certainly
no doubting the whisky’s
provenance.
