Footfall at the Merseyway
Shopping Centre exceeded ten
million in 2014, and there’s little
to suggest its popularity is going
to wane any time soon. Located
in Stockport, one of Greater
Manchester’s
busiest
town
centres, the capacious complex
is home to an array of high
street retailers. Merseyway was
established in 1965 and packs 90
stores within 380,000 square feet
of prime retail space. Anchored by
Marks and Spencer, Debenhams,
BHS and Primark, the centre
plays host to a diverse programme
of events, from the fun-filled
festivities of the Christmas lights
switch-on to fashion events, Easter
egg hunts and family fundraisers.
