Robbie’s Whisky Merchants is a specialist whisky
shop situated in Ayr’s Sandgate, right in the
heart of Burns Country. It is a privately-owned,
independently-run business, staffed by a friendly
and experienced team who’re always more than
happy to help. This affords Robbie’s the flexibility
to give you a personalised service to suit your
tastes and whisky supping proclivities. Service
aside, Robbie’s Whisky Merchants stocks the
largest range of whiskies in the whole of Ayrshire,
but prides itself upon specialising in single malts.
They also offer an extensive range of blended
whisky, Irish whisky, bourbon whisky and grain
whisky. With so many whiskies in store you’re sure
to find something to suit your palate, as well as
many collectors’ items and limited edition bottles.
Whether you’re after closed and silent distillery
bottlings or Robbie’s own range of single casks,

Sheila Kerr’s customer base is international, but
her traditional and contemporary bespoke creations
are truly Scottish. Each is designed and made in
her studio located at the quaint Irvine harbourside.
The range of jewellery includes wedding items,
necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, bangles,
pendants, hair pins and tiaras. Here you can have
a stunning piece made to fit your own specifications
and preferences, for a unique gift, occasion, treat or
keepsake, or have an existing piece redesigned. As
well as commissions, Sheila Kerr has over 20 years
experience in the art form and sells a ready-to-
wear range, made in small numbers to keep each
item limited edition. Recent ones include a Robert
Burns-inspired range, The Ailsa Collection and The
Sunset Collection. Her work can be viewed online
and at National Trust for Scotland galleries, the
Turnberry Hotel and Golf Resort, and in a variety of
independent shops.
