Fir Park Stadium, Motherwell, ML1 2QN

Premiership team Motherwell FC play at Fir
Park. Fir Park is much more than just a football
stadium and acts as a high profile event space.
Here you can hold your wedding, conference,
meeting, Christmas party night or celebration
in historic surrounds. The club has been a
firm part of Lanarkshire life for over 130 years.
Season passes are available for a stewarded
car park and food and drink can be enjoyed on
site at the Davie Cooper Suite, along with match
screenings. Kiosks in the stands provide a range
of hearty hot food and beverages to keep you
warm as you cheer the team on. Afterwards pop
into the Well Shop, where you can purchase
merchandise, memorabilia and gifts. Tickets can
be purchased at the gate, but as many matches
sell out, it’s worth getting them online in advance,
to be sure of entry.

Golf Course
Elie Golf Course boasts charming views, with
its delightful seaside location in a bijou village.
The course is one of the oldest and finest in
Scotland, with its 18 holes spreading just over
6,000 yards. Once you’ve enjoyed some time on
the green, retire to the Clubhouse. Dating back
to the 1800s, the Golf House Club combines
history with contemporary design. It was recently
refurbished with a spend of £1.25 million, and
now provides high-quality facilities for members
and visitors alike. You can be sure of a warm
welcome even if it’s your first time at the club,
as you enjoy a coffee, alcoholic beverage or
something to eat. The Golf House Club is also
the venue for regular events throughout the
year, while the members’ lounge is a particularly
idyllic spot, its large bay window overlooking the
activity of the 18th green.
