Dundee United famously play in a black and
orange strip, earning them the nickname ‘The
Tangerines’. Supporters, however, are referred
to as Arabs, with their own online portal known
as the Arabzone. The Dundee United team play
home games at Tannadice Park and the club itself
dates back to 1909, having taken its current name
in 1923. Dundee United Football Club has its own
academy, with youth programmes, training and
fixtures. Take a Dundee United experience tour
every Wednesday at 1pm, or view the virtual tour
online. Tannadice Park also hosts special events
and makes for a unique venue for your private
function or celebration. Tickets to matches can be
purchased online, or in person at the ticket centre
Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings on non
match days. Plus you can purchase gifts and
memorabilia at the official Dundee United shop.

Long-term rival of Dundee United, Dundee
Football Club is known as The Dark Blues (so
named because of its navy and white strip) or
The Dee. The team dates back to 1893 and play
in the city centre at Dens Park, which has a
capacity of 11,850 spectators. In May 2018 it was
announced that the stadium would be renamed
as Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park, for sponsorship
reasons. In 2017, DFC launched a community
trust to advance education and participation in
sport, leading to improved quality of life. Fans
can often be heard singing their anthem ‘Let
it Be’ while cheering their side at the regular
fixtures. Tickets to matches can be purchased
online, or in person at the ticket centre Monday
to Friday, and Saturday mornings on non match
days; or after the full-time whistle on match days.
