place than Ancrum Outdoor
Centre. Together with Clatto
Watersports Centre, you’ll
find something here to get the
adrenalin pumping whether
you’re an expert or are making
your debut. The Centre has
excellent transport links to
some of the finest rivers and
mountains in Scotland; don’t
let the fact that it’s in the heart
of Dundee make you doubt its
facilities. Whether it’s a team-
building exercise for work, or
a birthday party for youngsters,
the staff will consider your
plans and tailor the program to
suit. There are taster sessions
for beginners where you can try
mountain biking or orienteering,
though sailing and rafting are
also very popular. If you’re
experienced in your chosen
sport, it’s possible to pick up
an advanced qualification or
skill with the help of Ancrum’s
friendly staff: the team are
highly-trained in a wide range
of sports and activities, so the
centre will try its best to team
you up with the right instructor.
If you’re not prepared to get
wet, incidentally, there’s always
kite flying to be enjoyed.
