The Avonbridge Hotel is a traditional low-rise
hotel that lies half a mile from the M74 motorway
and a similar distance from Hamilton Central
train station. The hotel is the brainchild of Luigi
and Rita Martalo, who have a long history of
providing high quality service to their customers.
After leaving Italy, the couple opened their first
catering business in Hamilton in 1954 before
diversifying into the hotel trade. Luigi and Rita
still take an active interest in the running of
Avonbridge Hotel and are proud that their children
and grandchildren are now actively involved.
Comfortably furnished rooms come with en suite
bathrooms, free WiFi, TV with satellite channels
and tea & coffee-making facilities; an upgraded
room includes a whirlpool bath and plush
