Coast is a small independent cafe bistro nestled
in the heart of Woolton Village in the suburbs of
Liverpool. The cosy bistro offers everything from
delicious home-baked cakes to relaxing in the
garden with a glass of Prosecco. The formerly
empty unloved shell of a building on Allerton
Road has been transformed from an ugly duckling
into a beautiful swan. Inside, the sandwiches
are generously filled, the bread is lovely and the
cakes are out of this world, especially the lemon
drizzle and the homemade scones. Available for
weddings and private dining, Coast also offer such
indulgences as Prosecco afternoon tea complete
with sandwiches on white and rye bread with a
choice of fillings including cheese & pickle, Coast
ham & mustard, smoked salmon & cucumber, and
egg mayonnaise. Unlimited tea and coffee refills
are all part of the service at this friendly coffee
shop and bistro.

Crust is a brick walled restaurant serving informal
meals of pizza, pasta and craft beers. A brand
spanking new pizza restaurant in Liverpool’s
Bold Street, Crust push the boundaries with their
creative Italian classics, starting with pizza. They
offer a range of different options for your dining
pleasure: simply sit back and relax with a hot slice
and a cold beer. Start the day with a Crust Breakfast
which comprises two free-range poached eggs
served with pancetta on toasted sliced bread and
homemade hollandaise sauce. Evenings are all
about the pizza including the Crust Original, made
on-site from a slow rising sourdough (minimum 48
hours) and baked in a wood-fired Marana Farni
oven. This process locks in the flour’s natural aroma
and moisture giving a soft and easily digestible
Neapolitan pizza. Short of catching the next budget
flight to Milan, Crust is about an authentic a slice of
Italy as you’re likely to get.
