Castaway’s Cove
Castaways Cove is a large pirate themed play
and party centre in Sheffield that is open daily.
It has plenty to keep your little buccaneers
amused, plus adults and toddlers under one get
in free. Castaways Cove has recently been taken
over by new management and has undergone a
thorough top down cleaning and refurbishment
of its equipment. The centre has a massive
multi-level soft play frame that is designed to
look like a large sailing vessel, complete with
huge cascading sails that fill the roof space. This
fantastic frame is spread over 7,500 sq ft with a
number of different zones for the kids to discover
that are guaranteed to unleash the adventurer
in every child. There are plenty of features
throughout the frame to keep kids entertained,
with all kinds of paraphernalia to climb up, slide
down and clamber over. There is also an area
designed especially for the little ones. There is
a two-hour play limit that operates during busy
periods. Castaways Cove has a cafe with plenty
of seating that provides good visibility of the
play frame so that you can keep an eye on your
little adventurers while they play. The cafe has
a healthy options menu that was nominated for
the Healthy Sheffield Awards, and the centre is
keen to promote a healthy lifestyle. A toddler
group gathers every Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday between 10:15am and 11:45am and
includes organised activities, play and a snack.
A Special Needs evening is held on the first
Monday of every month too. The centre offers a
number of different party packages are available
to suit all needs, including toddler parties
and special exclusive parties. With so much
space to roam, kids can discover the separate
zones, with features lurking round each corner
that are guaranteed to unleash the adventurer in
every child.
