          The BrewDog invasion was

          bound to reach Sheffield

          sooner or later, and the

          Scottish craft brewer has

          indeed now mustered on Eldon

          Court. BrewDog Sheffield is

one of more than 20 BrewDog

pubs in the UK, with further

          outposts in the works. The

          bar, despite its stripped back

aesthetics, is far from a harsh,

          broiling environment – comfy

          booths and sofas abound,

          with a raft of boardgames

          and other distractions. While

          the industrial decor is chic,

it’s the quality of the booze

          that has been so instrumental

          in the Scottish brewer’s

          runaway success. Step inside

          BrewDog Sheffield and you’ll

          be presented with unique craft

beers from a host of brands,

          including the eponymous

brewer. As many as 30 beers

are on tap, with the likes of

          Mikkeller, Flying Dog, Evil Twin

and Matt Hatter vying for your

          interest. But you needn’t crane

over heads to scan the taps

          themselves: the large listings

above the bar let you know

          which brews are available, as

          well as their alcohol content

and country of origin. Grab a

pint of Punk IPA and enjoy the

          unrivalled ambiance. Dubbed

a ‘key bolt hole for the craft

          beer revolution’ by BrewDog

          co-founder James Watt, this

is one drinking den you won’t

          want to leave.
