TAMPER COFFEE
9 Westfield Terrace
Sheffield, S1 4GH

“Sip and socialise” is the simple ethos behind
Tamper Coffee. Tamper vows to bring the best of
New Zealand’s café culture to Sheffield, where
coffee takes centre stage and only top quality, tasty
food makes its way through the serving hatch.
It’s a simple recipe but one that works brilliantly.
You’ll find the Kiwi cafe at Sellers Wheel and
Westfield Terrace, from where it delivers coffee
in two slightly different ways. Tamper Coffee only
use freshly roasted beans from South Yorkshire’s
expert roasters. Set up by Jonathan Perry, the
cafe has recreated a slice of contemporary New
Zealand cafe culture in the heart of Sheffield. All
of its baristas are expertly trained and are proud to
serve great tasting coffee with artisanal skill. Try
the house blend, the ‘Tamper Boutique’ or one of
the many single origin beans that are roasted to
order and which change every week.

Harland Cafe has a warm and rustic feel; it’s a
simple and down-to-earth place where you can
rock up any time of day for breakfasts, lunches
or just to relax with coffee and a cake. The cafe
is inspired by good old-fashioned hospitality,
the kind of place where there is always a big pot
of tea and homemade cake on the table. It aims
to provide great value for money with a range
of workers’ sandwiches and specials. Everyone
is made to feel welcome and is greeted warmly
in comfortable, modest surroundings. The food
at the Harland Cafe is hearty and wholesome;
its staff cook and bake on the premises using
simple recipes and fresh produce. Outside
there is a secret courtyard where you can catch
the sun whilst enjoying a cappuccino – you can
even stretch the summer by grabbing a blanket
and enjoying a hot chocolate.
