The very first Go Ape
adventure to cross the
border into Wales is located
in the grounds of the
beautiful Margam Country
Park which boasts 1,000
acres of parkland and the
largest herd of deer in Wales.
The Tree Top Adventure at
Margam features the biggest
tarzan swing in the UK. You’ll
have to gear yourself us for a
leap of faith, which features
a stomach-wrenching drop of
six metres. Enjoy two to three
hours in the trees taking on
zip wires, tarzan swings,
rope ladders and a variety
of obstacles and crossings.
Complete with a sea view,
this Welsh adventure boasts
beautiful views across the
lake and the famous Margam
Country Manor House. If
you’re lucky you will see the
large deer herds roaming
through the park as you
negotiate the tree tops.
Visitors are advised to wear
sensible clothes for their
treetop adventure. Gloves
are recommended, though
if you forget to pack a pair,
don’t worry – you can pick
some up at the cabin on the
day before facing your fears
and embarking on an elating
treetop adventure.
