Guidi’s is a beloved, family-run Italian restaurant in Airdrie that has stood as a local institution since 1983. After a devastating fire destroyed the original premises in 2021, the venue has made a triumphant return. Rebuilt from the ground up in partnership with Albert Bartlett and Thomas Johnstone Limited, the restaurant celebrated its soft opening in July 2026. The stunning new 30,000 sq. ft. building features a modern Mediterranean aesthetic, blending exposed brickwork with classic wood finishes and open timber beams. This expanded space now includes the Capocci Man Gelateria, an integrated deli, and a dedicated Italian ice cream parlour. Despite the fresh look, Guidi’s remains true to its roots, serving the signature traditional Italian favourites, authentic pasta dishes, and stone-baked pizzas that first made it a community staple. It is a beautiful fusion of heritage and modern design, welcoming guests back to a new era of dining.
