Comprising two highly-regarded restaurants – one in Renshaw Street, the other in Lark Lane – Chyspecialises in enticing, authentic Oriental dishes cooked by experienced Chinese chefs. Both restaurants have received high praise for both the food and the service, as well as the sleek, modern furnishings. While the Lark Lane venue has been around for years, the city centre restaurant in Renshaw Street opened in late 2014. Diners can expect a luxury twist on Oriental dining, with many well-loved options gracing the menu. Starters include char siu wan-ton noodle soup, aromatic crispy duck and prawn toast and a range of main courses including pork, chicken, duck, curry and vegetable dishes. There’s also a few Chyspecialities including vermicelli stir-fried with shredded char siu, king prawns and peppers, the dish infused with traditional Singapore flavours. If you feel like dropping in for lunch, the two-course menu, served from midday till 5pm each day, represents outstanding value.

Chinese restaurant nice decor and the staff where attentive without being pushy. The food is excellent and fairly priced.Three of us had a starter main and dessert with a bottle of house wine and fresh orange juice which came to £75. We would recommend Chy and already planning to visit again.
