Situated only 6 miles from Belfast City Centre, The Ivanhoe Hotel in the suburban and residential area of Carryduff, began its existence back in the 1800s as a Spirit Grocers, known as The Halfway House – a well-known stopping-off point for travellers on their way from Belfast to Saintfield. Lovely meal last night. Hadn't been here in years. Bistro is really lovely, with a relaxed modern feel. Had the pear flan for dessert which was delicious. Main course also lovely. Staff were attentive and very pleasant. Will definitely visit again.
