If you haven’t heard of the St Enoch Centre, you must be new to Glasgow. Situated as centrally as it gets, this sprawling mall is the first – and often last – point of call for the West Coast’s serious shoppers. With the city’s main transport hubs just a short hop, skip and jump away, getting here couldn’t be easier. Leaving however, with so many designer stores, retail outlets and boutiques to tempt you, is less straightforward. Clothes, perfumes, home furnishings and cosmetics; they’re all here in abundance along with every other conceivable ware. Although the St Enoch Centre is a fascinating place to browse, the odds are that once through its doors, you won’t be leaving without several bags clutched under each arm. A huge number of high street brands, from Pulp To Debenhams, can be found lurking under the centre’s roof as well as a food court that’s packed with cafes, sandwich and burger outlets that will sate your hunger when lunchtime rolls around. Elegantly designed and impeccably laid out, the St Enoch Centre represents the epitome of 21st century shopping. If you’ve got the energy for it, bring the kids, park up and prepare to make a day of it.

Nice shopping centre, has loads of good shops all in one place. The food court is rubbish though, just junk food outlets. Best to eat elsewhere if you want good food.
