Hoodles Playbarn

Hoodles is a children’s activity centre located at the North Mains of Barrie in Oldmeldrum, Inverurie. Designed as a haven for children, Hoodles comprises a paddock and play barn, the latter featuring an enclosed indoor play-frame with soft toys, ball swings and slides. For parents, meanwhile, there’s a coffee shop in which to relax and keep a watchful eye on the kids. A simple but accomplished menu offers drinks, snacks and meals to suit children and adults, while an enclosed play area in the courtyard can be used during warm weather. The play barn is also available for hire for birthday parties. The paddock is the name given to the outdoor area at Hoodles, a space that includes a football pitch, basket swing, trampolines, sandpit, pedal go-karts and grass sledges. There’s also a catering van on hand to dispense ice creams – weather dependent. Hot and cold drinks are available, as is a Hoodles-packed picnic, which includes crisps, sandwiches, yoghurts, cakes and juice. At Hoodles it’s all about the kids; there are party packages on offer as well as takeaway bags containing sweets, gifts and balloons. Treat your kids to a great day out at Hoodles.
