Ishoka, based on Albyn Place, is one of the Aberdeen’s best-known hair and beauty salons. Having first opened its doors in 1995, the salon has achieved a reputation for delivering five-star service. Co-owner Philip Bell has been the recipient of the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year award three times, the most recent title gaining him entry to the well-known Hairdressing Hall of Fame. On arrival you’ll receive a warm welcome to this impressively large establishment, set over four floors - a charmingly relaxing and appropriately stylish environment awaits you. The spacious waiting area boasts a grand marble fireplace and stunning original features can be found throughout the building. Why not begin your salon experience by unwinding with a glass of vino or a fresh coffee and have a browse at a selection of glossy magazines - you might even pick up some ideas for a particular cut, colour or style.  You’ll be allocated both a stylist and a stylist’s assistant to help you achieve the perfect look and if you fall in love with any of the products used on the day, there’s a selection available to purchase and take away for your very own at home salon level results (as well as gift vouchers for use on the high quality salon merchandise). If you have a wedding, prom, party or other special event, you can get the season’s look at the Ishoka Style Bar - arrive with clean hair, select your favoured style from the menu and the team will have you transformed and ready to impress in no time at all. It’s not all about hair at Ishoka either; they provide everything you need to pamper, preen and perfect in luxury.
