Much of the 1920s decor has been preserved, including the dark panelled bar and chandeliers, giving this chic bar a speakeasy vibe. On weekends, resident DJs crank up the tunes, whereupon Dragonfly truly comes to life. Open till 1am seven days a week, Dragonfly is the sort of place you pop into for a long overdue catch up with good friends as well as the starting point for a night that will inevitably lead you through the Grassmarket and on to the Cowgate.

Great cocktails at a reasonable price. Service was great too. A nice place to have a conversation over drinks as the music was played at a comfortable volume.
