Glasgow Central Station is as grand a train terminus as exists in Britain, and within its eponymous four-star hotel you’ll find Champagne Central, a stunning bar replete with impressive colonnades, marble floors and decorative domed ceilings. It’s fair to say that the capacious Victorian venue is a world away from the hustle and bustle surrounding Scotland’s busiest train station; indeed, the impression is that one is in an opulent country house or a restaurant on the White Star Line. Here, you can choose from an extensive range of champagnes, fine wines, delectable cocktails and premium drinks; you can also indulge in a sumptuous afternoon tea (with or without Prosecco!) while drinking in the lavish surrounds. If you’re interested in Private Dining options, Champagne Central’s exclusive space can accommodate as many as 25 guests for special occasions. There’s no space like this in all of Glasgow.

We had a great afternoon tea with Prosecco at Champagne Central. The food was nice, and the venue is really comfortable and accommodating. The staff were really friendly and we had a great experience overall.
Very well equipped and quiet rooms for business meetings. Business lounge is excellent, staff are easy to get hold of and always quick to assist with any queries. Location is second to none for convenience and the sympathetically restored interior of the building is both comfortable and impressive. The bar too is very nice, with views over Central Station concourse to the main departure boards meaning it's not only a convenient and pleasant place for post-meeting refreshments, but also handy for attendees travelling home afterwards.
