Urban Adventure is a high ropes adventure centre located within Bitts Park, Carlisle. We bring an exciting mix of thrill-seeking and personal development to the people of Cumbria. UA is a private enterprise owned by LJM Asset Management Ltd.
The site combines high ropes courses at 4m and 8m, a 75m zip wire, climbing wall, powerfan descender, team building area and an innovative kids adventure course for the littlest adventurers. The facility was built by the leading manufacturer of high rope and climbing courses in the world, Walltopia. We use a fully secure roller safety system and believe safety is priority number one at all times. All our staff are fully qualified and members of ERCA (European Ropes Course Association).
The site was built with the approval of Carlisle City Council but no public funding is going towards the venture. All financial backing is being provided from private enterprise. We are very thankful for the support of both Carlisle City Council and Carlisle Leisure.
Our vision is to help provide another facility to further enhance the visitor experience for those coming to Bitts Park. Both LJM and Urban Adventure are keen to see Carlisle improve its overall facilities and provide local employment opportunities. We are passionate for all things Cumbrian.

My 9yr old nephew had a great time, got scared in a few places but with some guidance got through it all. The staff obviously enjoy their jobs and all seem great with kids and friendly too!
