Braes is located in the cosmopolitan west end of Dundee, surrounded by quirky art shops and Dundee University’s campus. It’s just one of the stylish bars along the Perth Road, but it’s not only frequented by students: you’ll find all sorts of people here for lunch and dinner, tempted in by Brae’s fantastic menu and friendly staff. Choose from one of their lunch deals, including a homemade pizza and salad for £5, or two for the price of one on Wednesday afternoons. Twinkling candles and an open fire present a warm and welcome relief from the winter months, but go there any weekend and you’ll find an exciting and buzzing atmosphere. The bar hosts live sports on television, so you catch all the important games. The function suite is also available for hire, and provides the perfect venue for a party of any kind. The staff can organise food and music for your event, or you can bring your own if you have a particular theme in mind: be it for fundraising events or club dinners, Braes Below and its bar can accommodate up to 80 people.
