Coast is a small independent cafe bistro nestled in the heart of Woolton Village in the suburbs of Liverpool. The cosy bistro offers everything from delicious home-baked cakes to relaxing in the garden with a glass of Prosecco. The formerly empty unloved shell of a building on Allerton Road has been transformed from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. Inside, the sandwiches are generously filled, the bread is lovely and the cakes are out of this world, especially the lemon drizzle and the homemade scones. Available for weddings and private dining, Coast also offer such indulgences as Prosecco afternoon tea complete with sandwiches on white and rye bread with a choice of fillings including cheese & pickle, Coast ham & mustard, smoked salmon & cucumber, and egg mayonnaise. Unlimited tea and coffee refills are all part of the service at this friendly coffee shop and bistro.

Having been out for a wander today we happened across Coast and decided to stop for a pit stop. As it was a lovely day we sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine. We only got drinks buttie were very nice and it was table service. The menu looks very appealing and this is definitely somewhere we will try in future.
