Our last meal out before lockdown was at the Salt Room so it was great to return. As ever, the food and service were excellent. We both had the beef tartare to start, then I had the monkfish and my wife had the hake. All were superb. We both went for the meringue (which was a sort of Eton Mess) for dessert and were delighted. Great to be back.

Took my sister here for a congratulatory dinner. The place did not disappoint, we ordered starters and mains from the specials board and the shared dessert from the main menu. All three courses were absolutely delicious. Have eaten here once before as a couple and we were sat near the big glass windows with a great view of the sea. The food on this occasion was just as good, had a seafood platter and again all was fresh and perfectly prepared. This is not a cheap restaurant but the service is great, the food was fresh and really well cooked and the surroundings within the restaurant are perfect for family, friends or couples. Will definitely eat here again for another special occasion.
